                   Lion Tamer

A circus owner advertised for a new lion tamer
And two applicants applied for the job,
One was a lovely shapely young charmer,
The other was a decrepit old fellow named Bob.

The circus manager decided to try out their skills
For this young lady’s class was quite a surprise
Entering the lions cage she removed all her clothes
And the lion walked up and nuzzled her thighs.

The amazed circus owner then said to the old man,
“If you can do that you will be quickly reimbursed,”
The old man replied, saying, “ I most certainly can
But you”ll have to get rid of that big lion first.”

Haha, I really liked this; poetry with humor is always entertaining. For the few stanzas you wrote, I had a clear image of the story. Your rhyme scheme for the last two lines made the punchline flow.

Yo LindsayP,

There you go Bob.  That's my man.

All us Bob's are always thinking.

BTW, nice poem.

I'm not sure "reimbursed" works, and you have a missing apostrophe on "lions"(sic).

It was however rather a funny poem .
