Thoughts of How She Observed [Konrad’s reminisce]

She would say to herself, [I can hear her now!]

give me the genus, doesn’t matter how,
by color or name, its paper bract ~
tell me how this creature reacts!
Tell of these regions, how they crawl;
give me your mind…give me all;

God, please, this silent creeping of her
so warm in my mind, and her charm!
for she was that of a close
twining arm…

God!  I’m so glad
she is not mine!

But how full she was, (this is accepting)
as I could only watch from
shadows drear,
feeling her smile,
knowing her near
to hear questions that she asked
and queried
as mindful thoughts processed
clear, pure…wary…

And her questions?  Incessant!
But yet, not cloying,
Just clinging           to life’s blood
She so dark, deep purple sensations,
Truly annoying!
Yet…there she was,
in lifting to light

as if an “answer me now”
would have a response!
And I damned myself
(a sound of goose hawnk!)

Then, and apparent,
she would repose
into herself
because, as only she knows,
the fact of it is,
her slight fear of being overheard
as she questioned the skies
when in flew

a bird

she reached long to be caught
upon its wing
upon its flight
once hesitant, but yet, a right
to ask, be answered,
she, who would know….

It carries a gift

Yes, it is so.

I will keep these, my
thoughts of her.
She saw. And still,
she sees.

God's most perfect church, but the garden He gave us.
How lovely and light, these words and thoughtful revelation of the admiring eye.
I sense a blessing, as in the person that touched your heart here...and I thank you for sharing that insight and honor with us.
Happy New Year Gal.
Loved this one.

Beautiful wordsmithing. I don't think I know the whole story but the results are well penned here.
Good to read your work again Karilea
