Changing Of The Weather

The cold wind has started to blow,
Signifying the end of the summer dew,
The summer color's that brightened the world,
Are fading to a cold and gray hue,

You can feel the ice cold bite in the wind,
The birds are migrating to the warmth,
The hedgehogs are beginning there hibernation,
And the land is looking forlorn,

The warmth of winter fires,
The comforting color of the embers glow,
Snuggled warm in a blanket,
Hoping it doesn't snow,

All the leaves are gone from the trees,
And the winter, now is here,
How i long for the suns warming rays,
And me lazily; drinking an ice cold beer,

Annie.

Thank you RDB
I have been in Australia in your summer,
My mum lives in Perth and it is hot,
It was strange drinking beer at a Barby out side at new year
