Walking upon a steep path,
past tall, brooding evergreens,
I come upon a sunlit meadow
alight with blooming anemones.
Here I stop to rest and ponder.

Across a small green valley
rises the rugged mountain
I dared myself to climb;
its bleak, silent peak hidden
in a bank of ominous grey clouds.

As I consider this climb
in forbidding terrain,
a gust of summer wind whispers:
"There will always be things
along the road of life
which are not clear, or create fear
but don't let your doubts
undermine a winning hand.

Though your eyes may not see
the path unwinding
or the obstacles strewn along the way,
there is a part of you that always knows:
trust this knowing, for it knows
the ways hidden from the senses.

Let inner wisdom guide you
and you will surely arrive
at your destination."

Now this is one to inspire the "discovery" side of ones personality.  Loved the way you brought the temptation of trusting to the forefront and of course the understanding.  You finish it with as much wisdom as you speak of and that wrapped it up perfectly.  Mind if I save this one?

This is beautiful and inspiring. Many don't know the path is there.

most fine imagery ... grand ending (especially):

"there is a part of you that always knows...

the ways hidden from the senses.

Let inner wisdom guide you
and you will surely arrive
at your destination(!)"

serious applause for this 'penning'!

"I dared myself to climb"

In that moment, you became one with your pathway.

A most wonderful write, WW.

One Who Walks with the Wind ~

The beauty, wisdom, and truth of your words has literally brought tears to my eyes.
You are one of the finest writers of spiritual wisdom that I have had the privilege of reading.

Your words have brought comfort to me in my own time of need. Thank you for this respite ~ and the reminder.

~ A keeper to be read whenever I need to read your words again.

Love & Light,
EA
