It probably wouldn't be wise to go to your plumber for legal help, or your auto mechanic for tax preparation, and it's equally unwise to expect a bunch of people in a forum to give any meaningful help on a medical problem. Just because I broke my collar bone once, that doesn't mean I can safely tell you how to set your own bones.

If you want advice about writing, you're in the right building. It would be completely irresponsible, however, for anyone here to offer their advice on how to treat cancer, a broken collar bone, or any other serious medical condition.

We can and do support you. But no one here has the training to help you make medical decisions.
